Trying to decide on a PDA? The first option will make is whether to go with the Palm OS or Pocket PC (Windows CE) System:
– Palm systems run an operating system called Palm OS.
– Pocket PC systems Run "Windows CE". It looks and works like most popular versions of Microsoft Windows that is used on your desktop or laptop. Windows CE are not identical to the consumer versions of Windows, and usually does not even software, but they interact well with other Microsoft programs.
Some features are a link between systems Palm and Pocket PC
– Both systems Palm and Pocket PC can manage contacts, calendar and to-do lists.
– Both Palm and Pocket PC can do handwriting recognition reasonable. In any case, may take a little time to adapt.
– Palm and Pocket PC models are available with digital cameras.
– Some models of Palm and Pocket PC support music, multimedia and MP3 (MP3 is compatible with almost all models). You should check the specifications of each model to see exactly what features they offer.
– Internet access is available for most Palm and Pocket PC.
Here are some reasons to choose Palm:
– Systems Palm are usually cheaper. Because Palm OS devices often have less memory and slower processing. They can get away with it without you noticing, since Palm OS is highly optimized to run on low end hardware.
– Palm systems are often lighter and smaller than the Pocket PC. Of course, this is not always the case, you must check the specifications of individual models to make comparisons.
– Palm systems, especially those with slower processors, often longer term between battery recharges.
– Palm systems, are in our opinion, a little easier to use. Pocket PC uses a smaller version of the standard Windows interface, which at the same time powerful, can provide many confusing options.

And here there are some reasons to opt for a Pocket PC:

Conclusions:
Of course, your opinion may differ, but for what it is, that's how I decide:
– Palm I would choose if I wanted a simple low-end PDAs.
– If I wanted more power and connectivity options, I look at both systems from Palm and Pocket PC.
– If there is a particular line software company that had run, and was available in either Palm OS and Windows CE (Pocket PC), of course dictated by my choice.
– As always, I had to check carefully the specifications of the machines, any person who was considering. There are good (and some) not so good models available in both Palm and Pocket PC.
